UPCOMING STUDIO PROJECTS!
June - "Rhythm Cups" using the new cup craze, we will hone our rhythm and increase lesson fun!
August - "How Does It Work?"
We will cover the mechanisms that are inside the piano and see how it works! We will be discussing how the keys hit the strings and how each foot pedal affects the sound of the strings. Each student will be able to explain how a piano makes music!
September - Learning to Improvise -
Students will learn how to create a melody with rhythm "on the fly" using some basic building blocks. This will encourage students to PLAY the piano, CREATE their own songs, and tap into the ARTIST that lies inside them. Students will be given guidelines to follow to create a piece and they will be as individual as each student. Now we are really playing the piano!
October-"FISH"ent Practice
